Naturopathic therapies

According to Michael Murray and Joseph Pizzorno in their book Encyclopaedia of Natural Medicine, "in addition to providing recommendations on lifestyle, diet, and exercise, naturopathic physicians may utilise a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote health. Some naturopathic physicians emphasise a particular therapeutic modality, while others utilise a number of modalities. Furthermore, some naturopath's focus in particular medical fields such as paediatrics, natural childbirth, or physical medicine (including massage and therapeutic manipulation).

The current range of therapies in which naturopathic physicians are trained includes clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homoeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, counselling and other psychotherapies.
